
author's guidelines
- Manuscripts, which must be original, should be submitted in English language.
- The Yoruba words or any other foreign words except English should be italicized and the diacritics signs should be used where necessary.
- The Journal is peer reviewed; hence, publishable papers are based on positive reports by the assessors.
- The manuscripts should follow the Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition; subject to updating by the Editorial Board).
- Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Romans, 12 point, and double-spaced on A4 sized paper.
- Abstract of not more than 250 words, with a maximum of five keywords must accompany each manuscript.
- Authors should indicate their names, institutional affiliations, phone numbers, and emails.
- Articles accepted become the copyright of the Ìyá Ìlù: Yorùbá Music Research Journal.
- Authors will be held responsible in case of copyright violations.
- The contributors will receive two hard copies of the published journals.
- Authors will be responsible for vetting and publication fees.
- Papers already published elsewhere will not be accepted.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the above guidelines shall not be sent out for review.
